In this study was presented a method to evaluate explosion risks in relation to specific chemical properties. The analysis of the fabrication rooms and the mechanical systems allowed us to identify modifications to the production equipment and mechanical systems to minimize explosion risks.
In this project, technical specifications for a 7,500 scfm skid-mounted dual chamber regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) system unit with puff chamber for the plant were provided. The proposed package included a control panel with PLC controls, HMI and instrumentation package.
