Energy study of the electrical systems of the St–Jerôme plant

Since 1857, the Mueller name has been known for innovative water and gas distribution products of superior quality. FINTEX was given a mandate to carry out an energy study of the St-Jerôme plant electrical system.

This study indentified several energy conservation projects that would lower plant energy costs and improve employees comfort. The plant heating problems and lack of fresh air were corrected by: modernizing the dust collection system, recuperating energy from the oven cooling water to pre-heat incoming fresh air and adding two make-up air units. The projects would balance plant air and generate energy savings.
