Mitchel - Lincoln, an important manufacturer of corrugated cardboard gave FINTEX a mandate to evaluate the manufacturing operations of its corrugated cardboard plant, including heating, ventilation and steam generation. The projects identified by the study included the recuperation of energy from the corrugators to pre-heat air, an indirect economizer on the boiler and a radiant heating project for the loading dock. These proposed projects had a potential energy savings of $250,000 per year with a payback of 2.5 years.

The mandate included an analysis of the corrugated operations, heating and ventilation of the building and steam generation. This study has identified projects generating $300,000 in total savings of natural gas per year.
