Grace Canada Inc., one of major manufactures of catalysts and additives for petrochemical plants mandated FINTEX to carry out an energy study of its catalyst fabrication plant. The mandate included a water balance for the washing table and an energy balance (natural gas) for the rapid dryer and calcinator. This study identified projects which could reduce energy consumption by 30 per cent with a project payback of 1 year.
